VIP: Very Important Pendleton

Gavin Lance Pendleton
Born October 10, 2011 7:51 pm
7 lbs 13.5 oz, 20 1/4" long
We had Gavin at the same hospital(Texas Women's in Houston) with the same doctor(Dr. Pinell) who delivered David. Our second nurse we had was even the same nurse I had with David so everything felt pretty comfortable for us! The delivery went wonderfully and could not have asked for a better experience...the labor on the other hand was not quite so wonderful:-) Gavin has already proven to be an awesome sleeper...too good to tell you the truth. I can hardly wake him for his meals! He's a great eater. He has the cutest litte cries...sounds kind of like a little mouse. We think he looks a lot like David did when he as born which means he will probably look like another little Lance and nothing like me...maybe one child will resemble me!Enjoy pictures of our new love!

Lance thinks that he needs to take pictures when I have contractions. This obviously wasn't during one because I would have not been so kind as to smile for a picture.

.

David meeting his new brother for the first time! We didn't think he really understood what was happening during the pregnancy but right when he came in the room he got excited and started saying "be be!"(baby). He wanted to give him tons of loves and kisses. David likes to point out Gavin's toes, eyes, ears, nose, head, etc. He thinks it is funny when Gavin starts crying. He also likes to lay on Gavin so
now David cannot be trusted with little G man without intense supervision from us:-)

It is quite difficult to entertain an almost 2 year old in a hospital room. So we did this a lot...
and called the nurses station on accident A LOT.

Going home!

Our sweet little boy! So perfect

  1. So sweet Jenny Leigh! I can't believe how beautiful you look in all these pictures, yet still were going through CHILD BIRTH (supposedly the most painful thing on the planet but that remains to be seen for me as yet!) !! I think the new little guy certainly looks like Lance right now, but maybe that will change?! ;)

  2. Lots of great pictures! You look amazing for just having a baby! Such happy times. That last picture he almost looks a little chubby! ;)
